Paradise Hotel was built by the Abu-Aita family in 1980 with four floors and the souvenir store which were opened in 1970, by the first generation of the family; it was the second hotel in Bethlehem area.

Those four floors were opened between “1985-1988” including 98 rooms with all the necessary facilities needed.

In 1993, the fourth and the fifth floors were opened by the new generation, so the total number of rooms reaches to 166 rooms.During this period, Paradise hotel became one of the most important hotels in the country as it hosted most of the pilgrims and cruises that were staying in Bethlehem or dinning in the city.

Also it hosted the most important people of the world, the international meetings and conferences for high level local and foreign seniors especially peace process negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis.
